Born and raised up in Ranchi, the capital of the Indian state of Jharkhand, Anamika did her schooling from there. She completed her Masters in English Studies from Central University of Jharkhand and is currently working as the Centre In-Charge of a Not for Profit Organization which sets up placement-linked skilling centres for youth with disability.
Her hobbies include reading novels, exploring new places, listening music, making new friends and do lot of shopping. She loves writings by Cecelia Ahern, Novoneel Chakraborty, Preeti Shenoy, Vishal Anand and Arjun Deep Singh Pahwa. She can be reached at connectanamikaroy@gmail.com.
